You submit and track requests for removing employees from your health insurance policy directly on Bayzat.

Watch the tutorial below to learn how

  1. Removal of employees with dependents - When you remove an employee who has dependents insured as well, you have to upload all the required documents for employee and dependent(s). This is because a dependent cannot be kept on a policy from which the employee has been removed. Step 2 changes. The other steps remain the same.

Step 1

Go to Endorsements, click on Removals, click on New removal, select the employee to be removed.

OR

Go to Health Insurance in the employee’s profile, and select Remove.

Step 2

Add in the requisite details! Don’t forget to add extra comments or requirements in the free text box at the bottom of the page. E.g. request COC

Note - If you are the admin, you can also choose to offboard an employee with a departure date based on removal reason. Refer to Step 4 for the offboarding process.

Step 2 - removal of employees with dependents

Add in the requisite details for all members. Don’t forget to add extra comments or requirements in the free text box at the bottom of the page. E.g. request COC for employee and dependent(s).

Step 3

Go back to Endorsements to track your removals. If you have requested a COC, it can be downloaded here.

Step 4

Offboarding (Optional): Removals of employees will now have a field asking for Reason for Removal.

An admin will be able to see the option of offboarding the employee when any reason for removal apart from Transferring to a New Policy is selected.

If you select the Offboard option, please enter the relevant departure date. This means that once offboarded, the employee will not have access to Bayzat after the departure date.

TIP:

You can now save drafts of every endorsement request you make, so that you can work on it later. Please make sure you click on the Save as Draft option to ensure your work is saved.

Once everything is finalized, you can come back to the Endorsements page and click on Continue Submission to complete the endorsement process.
