A workweek on Bayzat defines the working days and off days for a particular group of employees. When you define what constitutes the workweek, you can assign it to individual employees.

This will help determine:

  • Which days get deducted automatically when employees apply for leave

  • The days employees should be checking in if using Attendance on Bayzat

Step 1: Create workweeks

  • On your menu panel, scroll down to Settings and click on Configuration and select the first tab Company

  • Expand the Workweek section to edit your Default workweek if needed

  • Click on Add New to create additional workweeks:

    • Give the work week a Name

    • Select the different working days as needed

    • Now you can also mark the day as half working day by switching the toggle button to the left (towards half day)

    • Lastly, click on Create Workweek

The half day work timings can be assigned to the employees post creation of the work week.

Step 2: Assign employees to their respective workweeks

  • On the employee work tab, click on the Workweek section to assign the appropriate workweek from the drop-down list

If you want to assign the work week to multiple employees simultaneously or assign several different work weeks to different sets of employees, follow the steps below.

Bulk assign work weeks

Step 1: Create workweeks ( Follow Step 1 above )

Step 2:Visit the employee section

  • Click the downward pointing arrow next to add employee

  • Now click excel bulk import

  • Download and then open the excel file

  • Go to column AX in the excel file and then update the work week from the drop down.

Step 3: Save, close the excel file and upload it back to Bayzat.

The work weeks will be assigned to each employee

Note - If you edit existing work week/s that have been assigned to employees then bulk assigning or re-assigning works weeks is not required.
