After the successful configuration between Bayzat and your accounting platform, you can proceed with syncing your payroll data.

Pre-requisites for the Synchronization:

  1. Connection with an existing and allowed accounting software must be complete.

  2. Accounts map and configuration should be done.

  3. Cost centers must be assigned to all employees if writing by cost centers is mandatory.

  4. The payroll cycle month should be closed.

Please note at least one Pay item and Paid via method is configured to smoothly sync the data.

The Payroll data can be synced once the Payroll cycle is closed.

You can view the closed payroll cycle under Transaction from where you are also guided to Sync data to your accounting platform.

Payroll > Transactions > Choose the closed payroll month > Sync data

Upon initiating the sync you will be directed to a Pre-Sync report to confirm:

  • Currency conversion rates: The platform auto-populates the current currency exchange rate but you can modify the conversion rate accordingly.

  • What will not be synced? : This section provides you with an error report on the unmapped data with the accounting platform. You can easily update or map the data from this section by clicking on "Update" which will lead you to the Configuration page.

  • How GL entries will be written based on data provided? : Details of all journal entries, dates, and other descriptions along with the reconciled debit and credit amount are shown in this section for your review.

Once reviewed, you can proceed to "Confirm to sync data"

A Post Sync report shows the data status or the progress of the sync. This may take some time depending on the number of entries to sync.

Once completed, it will show a "Success" status to confirm that the entries are ready to be viewed on your accounting platform.

You can also "Download sync report" after successful syncing.
