How to create your goals as an employee

As an employee how to create your own goals for performance management

As an employee, you can create your own goals, in this article we will walk you through the process for doing this.

Let us look at a short walk through and then you can follow the instructions listed below.

1 - Click on My Performance in your Work Section

2 - Click on Create Goal

3 - Set up a goal and define it in detail

4 - Click Create and your goal is ready!

The following fields need to be entered to ‘Create Goals’

  • Goal Name

  • Goal Description (optional)

  • Goal Type - (optional)

    • Goal types help with the categorization of goals

    • The types displayed will be based on what is set up in the configuration.

  • Start Date & End Date of goal

    • It must fall within the dates of the cycle.

  • Weights

    • Goal weights help convey the importance of one goal over another.

    • The weight of a goal should not exceed 100%

    • Weight can be 0% but not blank

    • The total weight of all goals assigned to an employee must equal 100%
