In partnership with Sanar, you can consult with a licensed doctor via chat or video call directly on the Bayzat app from where ever you are.

The doctors will examine symptoms, provide diagnoses, make treatment recommendations, and advise on required medications.

Where are the doctors from?

Doctors are based in KSA and licensed by KSA MOH.

Do I have to pay for a consultation?

There are several options:

  • Users can pay the full amount for consultations out of their pocket if they don’t have insurance.

  • Insurance can cover some part of the cost and users will need to pay the remaining amount.

  • Insurance can cover the full cost and users don’t need to pay anything.

Insurance validation happens in the app before scheduling an online appointment.

What is the price of consultation?

The price varies depending on the doctor and specialty and can be from SAR 50 to SAR 200 per consultation. It can also go down to SAR 0 if telemedicine services are covered by one’s insurance policy.

What are the insurance providers supported?

Sanar accepts Bupa, Tawuniya, MEDGULF, Malath, and AlRajhi Takaful insurance for telemedicine.

Can I receive doctor reports and prescriptions?

Yes, you can access all these documents in the Bayzat app after consultation.

Is there a medicine delivery service available?

No, right now there’s no medicine delivery service. You can use a prescription to get medicine from your pharmacy as usual.

Can I consult a doctor online if I'm outside of KSA?

Yes, you can get a consultation wherever you are, but doctors will not be able to issue prescriptions as it’s only valid in KSA.

How do I reschedule or cancel an appointment and solve other potential issues?

You can reach out to the Sanar support team in Whatsapp chat. The link to this chat is available in the Bayzat app.

What symptoms can you get a consultation for on the app?

Online consultations work perfectly for most non-emergency conditions. Here are some of the common symptoms you can get immediate consultations for:

  • Cold, cough, sore throat, or flu-like illness

  • Vomiting and Indigestion

  • Headaches and Earaches

  • Eye infections

  • Urinary symptoms

  • Sinus congestion and allergies

  • Rashes

  • Diarrhea
