A Super Admin, People Manager, Leaves Manager, or Line Manager can raise a leave request on behalf of an employee in case of the employee's absence.
Please note: Bulk upload of leave requests is not supported. If you need to record multiple leave entries, each request must be manually submitted on the platform.
To raise a leave request on behald of an employee you can follow the below steps.
Step 1: Navigate to Time > Employee Leaves > New Leave request.
Step 2: Fill in the required details by selecting the name of the employee, Type of leave, date and note if necessary and click Submit.
Note: The number of days for a leave request is automatically calculated by the system and will appear greyed out.
To enable manual editing of the number of leave days, you can update the relevant setting in the Leave Policy configuration.
When a leave request is raised by a Super Admin on behalf of an employee, it is automatically approved by the system.
If needed, you can move the request back to 'Pending' by clicking the three-dot menu on the request and selecting the appropriate action.
