As of today the system will not automatically deduct leaves that fall on a public holiday to be added back to an employee's leave balance. This is an enhancement to our time off module that will be launched shortly.
Employees can either select only the working days in number of days field at time of requesting the leave. Alternatively, Admins can adjust leave requests submitted for leaves that fall on a public holiday using the edit button.
Note: Employees can only edit leave requests in pending stage. An admin can make edits anytime.
