How Can It Help You

The Health Insurance feedback survey helps you understand your employees' experience with their health insurance policy, as well as what matters most to them with regard to their policy.

Understanding employee's requirements and experience with their health insurance policy will allow you to choose the best fit policy when it is time to renew your policy. It can also help you understand which aspects of the health insurance policy to focus on improving or maintaining.

Finally, if the survey is run early in the policy period, it can flag issues in employee's insurance experience that may be possible to resolve through discussion with your Account Manager or training of your employees.

How to Interpret the Results

  • Check the hospitals that employees have rated as most important and review if they are covered/ will be covered by your next health insurance policy This is typically the most important factor for employees

  • Use the health insurance plan filters to identify how survey responses vary between employees in different categories

  • Use the dynamic question filters to see how answers vary between employees who have used their insurance policy and those who have not had a chance to use it

  • Understand the importance of additional benefits like dental, psychiatry, and optical to various employees to see if they should be included in the policy

Best Practices

  • Share the purpose of the survey clearly:

    • Explain why you want this information and how it will be used to select the next best fit insurance policy as part of the sharing text for the survey.

  • Consider the need for anonymity

    • Some employees only feel comfortable giving truthful feedback if they are allowed to be anonymous, especially when dealing with sensitive medical information

  • Show that you are listening to employees' feedback

    • It may not be possible to meet all requests that employees have made regarding their health insurance policy due to cost constraints. However, showing that you have heard their feedback and explaining the rationale used to select the health insurance policy based on this can make them more satisfied.
