1. What is the maximum number of employees I can register with Al Ansari Exchange (AAE)?

Company can register any number of employees with AAA. 

2. What is the process for payroll or PayPlus card activation?
Registered employee will receive SMS notification to visit the nearest Al Ansari branch to collect their payroll cards. Employees are required to present either their Emirates ID or Passport to activate and collect the card at the same time

3. What are the cut off times to process salaries?

  • For cash deposit at any AAE branches before 3:00pm, salaries will be proceeded the same day. 
  • For cheque deposit at any AAE branches ATM or Bank, it will take a maximum of 2 days to clear the cheque and salaries will be proccessed upon realizing the funds in AAE’s account. 
  • For Online or Wire transfers, salaries will be processed upon realizing the funds in AAE’s account.

 4. How many branches and ATM does AAE have?
Al Ansari has over 190 branches nationwide excluding ATMs and free cash withdrawals at these branches and FAB ATMs throughout the UAE. Free balance inquiries at FAB ATMs. Cash withdrawals from any ATM displaying the MasterCard logo within the UAE or worldwide (charges apply) 

5. How can I block a missing/stolen card?
Call FAB contact services on 600 525 500. Follow the verification questions to block your card. If verification is unsuccessful, please visit the nearest AAE centre for assistance.

6. How can I request for lost or stolen card?
At any of the Al Ansari branches, and the required document is either emirates ID or passport. Card replace comes with a fee and takes 12 working days to be completed. 

7. How can I withdraw without the PayPlus card?
You can present your emirates ID to any Al Ansari Branch to withdraw. 

8. What are the charges associated with payplus cards for employees?

  • FAB ATM – Withdrawal and checking balance is free
  • FAB ATM - Withdrawing more than your current balance is AED 1.90. E.g If you have AED 900 and you want to withdraw AED 1000, a fee of AED 1.90 will be applied
  • Other ATMS – Withdrawal and checking of balance is AED 2.

9. Can you register employees without labour card/free zone number details?
No, AAE does not allow that.

10. What are the documents required for registering On-shore Bayzat Benefits Customer with AAE?

  • Copy of Valid trade license(s).
  • Copy of updated MOL list(s).
  • Copy of a completed AAE company registration form(s), signed and stamped.
  • Copy of passport with Visa page or EID of the signatory. POA is required if the signatory is other than anyone mentioned on the Trade license. 

11. What are the documents required for registering Free-zone Bayzat Benefits Customer with AAE?

  • Copy of Valid trade license(s).
  • Copy of a completed AAE company registration form(s), signed and stamped.
  • Copy of passport with Visa page or EID of the signatory. POA is required if the signatory is other than anyone mentioned on the Trade license. 

12. What are the documents required for registering the employees with AAE once company registration is done? (both onshore and offshore)
Payroll support team at Bayzat will take care of this, AAE Employee Addition sheet will be filled in and documents submitted by our team.

13. What is the turnaround time for Company and Employee registration for onshore and free zone (WPS compliant) trade licences?
Within 24 hours.

14. What is the turnaround time for non WPS compliant companies (ESA Companies)?
More than 24 hours.

15. What payment options are available for salary deposit and payments to AAE?

  • Cash Deposit at AAE branches (salary file will be processed within 24 hrs)
  • Cheque Deposit (salary file will be processed upon cheque realization). Deposit in cheque the SIF amount (total salary amount) plus any additional commission and charges payable to AAE at any of their branches.
  • Online/Direct Fund Transfer to any of the AAE partner bank accounts listed below, using the following beneficiary name.

16. What is a PayPlus Card?

  • The PayPlus card is a co-branded ATM card, which is the result of a tie up agreement with First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), where salaries can be withdrawn from the bank’s ATMs and Al Ansari Exchange branches through the Fawri Machines. 
  • Card Issuance fee: 2 AED
  • Card replacement fee: 25 AED
  • Cash withdrawals from any ATM displaying the MasterCard logo within the UAE or worldwide (charges apply).
  • A dedicated call center for card related inquiries
  • Secure cash withdrawals using your PIN code
  • You can pay for your purchases at any outlet or online store, globally, displaying the MasterCard logo

17. When will the PayPlus card be delivered?
Within 20 working days.

18. Where will the cards be delivered?
The card(s) will be delivered at the AAE branch mentioned on the AAE company registration form by the client for pickup by the employee (on the delivery location mentioned in the employee addition file)

19. How would the employees be notified on card receipt status?
Employee will receive an SMS notification when the cards are ready for collection and they must present either the original Emirates ID or passport at the AAE branch mentioned.

20. What if I want to get my card replaced? Is there a fee associated with it?
Employees can request for card replacement at any AAE branch and the TAT for card replacement is 12 working days. The fee for replacement is AED 5 and AED 25 for pay plus card plus VAT.

21. Do I get a SIF reference number just like UAE Exchange?
There is no SIF reference number generated. All you have to do is to make sure you send the completed SIF file and the proof of payment (like an e-receipt) to AAE and we will make sure your employees are paid.

22. What if I input incorrect MOL ID or IBAN/CRN? How do I communicate this to AAE??
You will receive a SIF rejection email with an attached SIF. On the same SIF, kindly make the correction and reply to the contact in the same email.

 23. What if I want to stop an ongoing processing for one employee because they absconded?
AAE will not allow this. Refund can only be requested if only the employee’s visa has been cancelled. 

 24. What if I underpaid the processing amount? Can I make another transaction and share the proof of payment?
Yes, you will be requested by AAE to top up the amount and share the POP to continue the salary disbursement process. 

25. Can I pay for multiple trade licenses in one single transaction? If yes, how?
For AAE to proceed, before are the requirements: 

  • The trade licenses must be related by a common partner(s) mentioned in all the trade licenses and the parent company must issue a relationship letter on the company's letterhead, stating the relationship between the trade licenses. 
  • This document should be sent at the initial stage of the company and employee registration for AAE to record in their system before they can process a single transaction for the multiple trade licenses.
  • When processing salaries for multiple trade licenses, please use the split letter to apportion the total amount to be paid per trade license. 

26. Can I make part payments for a single trade license? If yes, how?
AAE will accept this if the single trade license is part of multiple trade licenses with a common partner

27. Can I make a single payment for onshore as well as free zone trade licenses? -
