You can customize your list of payroll allowance categories to break down salary amounts.

  1. Select Payroll tab under Configuration in the navigation panel on the left

2. Under Allowances click on Add New (example: Dearness Allowance)

The list of allowance categories will be visible while editing an employee's salary breakdown as shown below:

New/customized allowances assigned to employees will then be reflected in the payroll table.
